ABOUT US
KDance is a dance school located in Fraserburgh and has been around for over 20 years! The school first began in 2000 teaching commercial dance and has continued to grow ever since. KDance is open 6 days a week and offers classes for babies, toddlers, children, teens, and adults with over 10 different styles of classes available.

OUR TEAM
KIM DONN
DANCE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Kim’s passion for dance started at a young age, she loved to dance and thus began teaching at age 13. Her training was achieved at Newcastle college and the University of Sunderland, where she received a HNC in dance and a bachelor’s degree in creative arts. Kim is constantly updating her training and the classes offered at KDance, so that her students not only have her experience but also the most current training. She is a certified Acro dance teacher with Acrobatic Arts, qualified to level 3 with Alixa Flexibility and most recently became an I-D company teacher having completed courses in contemporary and street dance. Kim loves to see her student’s progress thus offers opportunities to excel such in elite training groups, assistant teacher, and apprentice teacher roles, ensuring students are reaching their maximum potential. The KDance studio provides an exciting, safe, and nurturing environment for all students, Kim can’t wait to welcome you into the KDance family.
HELEN FEENEY
BALLET & TAP TEACHER
Early on in life, Helen realised dancing was the career path for her. This led her to train as a professional dancer for three years and when she got her teaching qualification started teaching in 2003. In her 18-year long career, Helen has taught all over the country from Stirling, Wales, Aberdeen and now Fraserburgh, giving her a wide array of experience in the industry. During her career, she has achieved many milestones including entering hundreds of pupils for exams in both the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing up to advanced standard, with the majority gaining distinctions or merits. Many of Helen’s former pupils also went on to dance professionally and trained at colleges like London Studio Centre and Northern Contemporary School. And two of her pupils gained junior associate places with the Royal Ballet. Helen welcomes all dancers and helps them achieve their fullest potential.
ROSIE STEPHEN
COMMERCIAL TEACHER
Rosie started Highland dancing at the age of two, training with the Bowman school of dancing in Dundee. Serious training led her to become a premier dancer, winning her pre-championship at the British Championship in Musselburgh. After this, Rosie continued competing at championship level regularly placing highly in her solo entries and along with her team. At the age of 13, Rosie diversified her training when she joined 6.1.0 Dance Academy and Lucie Summers Dance. During her time with these schools, she has trained in Hip hop, Commercial, Contemporary, Lyrical and Jazz, she is confident and capable in many styles.
SARA CARROLL
DRAMA TEACHER
Sara has been part of KDance for almost as long as Kim! Initially training with KDance in commercial dance, contemporary dance, and theatre. As an adult Sara built up her teaching experience running commercial classes, contemporary and cheerleading. Sara has been involved in numerous shows and performances over the years and last year got the opportunity to co-produce the FJAS pantomime an exciting and well-deserved role. Sara is our favourite stage manager during KDance shows.
EIRINN TAYLOR
COMMERCIAL TEACHER
Having danced since she was 3 years old, Eirinn has experience in many dance styles. Her training with 6.1.0 Dance Academy provided her with the opportunity to perform at His Majesty’s Theatre and with NEYDC she has competed and won many competitions. More recently she has developed her dance skills by taking classes with industry professionals Demz Crawley, Neal Piron and Ola Papiór.

BALLET & MIXED
STYLE ASSISTANT
Summer’s passion for dance started at age 3 when she began taking classes and its only continued to grow. Summer is now 16 and has consistently taken part in dance for 13 years. She has taken many different styles including acrobatics, ballet, contemporary, commercial, and lyrical. She has also achieved qualifications in dance completing NPA dance in S3 and achieving 2 gold medal awards from ballet at KDance. She has been working at KDance for a couple of years now, and her technique and passion only continues to grow!
